Anne Linnonmaa uses Peruvian combed cotton

The cotton knits in the Anne Linnonmaa ® Collection are made of handpicked Peruvian cotton grown without using the defoliants essential for the cultivation of machine-harvested cotton. The material comes from family farms.

Products are not bleached before dyeing and chlorine is not used even in the production of optical white in textiles. During the finishing process, components that cause pilling are removed with enzymes from the cotton knit. The enzymes leave the product during the process and are biodegradable. The products are pre-shrunk, meaning that they can be machine-washed at
40°C , and even tumble-dried.
